What Oophaga Froglets Are oow Today?
Welcome to The Daily Log
This is a breeder's journal; a day-by-day and month-by-month journal documenting every time an Oophaga froglet is removed from its parental enclosure. This journal is for Fern's Frogs® Oophaga genus/species froglets only.

OOPHAGA Froglets oow (out of water) December 2024- Current
Upon completion of metamorphosis, Oophaga froglets are removed from the rearing/parental enclosure without delay. Juveniles are maintained for an initial period of 1–3 months in a controlled, simplified environment (“neonate bin”) to reduce stress and facilitate consistent feeding. Following this stage, froglets are transferred to structured grow-out enclosures where they remain for approximately six months prior to transfer of ownership.
